Your DOS player records and game settings are saved in this browser. Signing in does not move these saves to another device.
The game-only page at /supaplex/play/ can be embedded in an X player card. It has no login or leaderboard publication and uses the collection’s shared Google Analytics integration. Browser rules can isolate or block saves in an embedded frame; use Open in new tab for the normal full-page browser experience. Embedded saves are not promised to share the room page’s progress.
The experiment at /supaplex/3d/ saves its board, position, collected infotrons and completion in this browser’s localStorage. These saves are separate from the original game. The experiment has no account or leaderboard integration and does not publish its results.
You can play, save locally and browse the leaderboard without an account. Google sign-in is only for publishing your progress. It requests basic identity access (openid and profile). We store your Google account ID and profile name privately, plus a first-party login session. We do not request email, Gmail, Drive or contacts access. Google tokens are verified during sign-in and are not stored.
After signing in, choose a public nickname to enable automatic leaderboard updates. Only that nickname, your linked game player's completed-level count and recorded play time become public. Your Google profile name and account ID stay private. Other players on your computer are not published. If several game players are saved in this browser, choose which one to track. Stop sharing and remove score deletes your leaderboard entry and disables automatic updates until you resume sharing. Signing out ends this browser's login session.
The collection uses the existing Supaplex Google Analytics property to measure visits and game features. We do not send Google IDs, profile names, nicknames, DOS player names or sign-in codes to Google Analytics. Advertising signals and personalization are disabled. You can turn analytics off in the Hall of Fame panel or the 3D experiment’s Controls panel; your choice is saved in this browser.
Cloudflare hosts the site and leaderboard database. Session cookies last up to 30 days. Google sign-in attempts expire after ten minutes. Google Analytics may set its own measurement cookies. Clearing browser data removes your local game saves and preferences.
